Go for a 1 day Wildlife and Boat Cruise experience in Lake Mburo. Lake Mburo is located 235km from Kampala in Kiruhura District, it is a savanna park but the smallest amongst all Uganda’s Savanna parks. This park is easily accessed since it lies on the Kampala-Masaka Highway, it is a good hub that connects to all the National Parks in the western part of Uganda.

The park covers 370km² and hosts over 350 species of birds, wildlife like zebras, elands, topis, hyenas, hippos, waterbucks, impalas, buffaloes, oribis and reedbucks. In one day you will do a game drive and boat cruise before leaving the park.

1 To Lake Mburo National Park

An early pick up from your location in Entebbe or Kampala by Tranquil safaris guide, have a quick briefing about your safari and start the 4 hour journey to Lake Mburo. You will have a stop at the Equator to observe the amazing experiments done to show you the difference between the southern and Northern hemisphere plus taking memorable photographs and buying souvenirs.

After, proceed to the first gate of Lake Mburo NP, immediately after clearing start the game drive for amazing wildlife sights of giraffes, warthogs, waterbucks, zebras and many more. After the drive have lunch and go for a Boat cruise in the afternoon to enjoy the picturesque landscape of Lake Mburo and animals like the hippos and crocodiles plus birds. The Park has other activities to offer, but because the time might not be enough you will end with the boat cruise and enjoy another game drive as you head out of the Park.

Transfer back to Entebbe or Kampala to your hotel/Airport.
