The 2 days Safari takes you to Kenya’s popular National Park known as the Maasai Mara National Reserve. In only 2 days, you will be able to tick off this from your bucket list. Maasai Mara derives its name from the ‘Maasai’ natives and the River ‘Mara’. Mara River makes its way through the park and hence providing water to wildlife.
The Maasai Mara lies within the Great Rift Valley and is situated in the southwestern region of Kenya. It covers an area of 1,510km2 with a diverse ecosystem connected to Tanzania’s Serengeti. The park is home to the Big 5, different birds as well as other various wildlife species. It is also well known for the remarkable Great wildebeest migration sights and experiences, this is when over 1.5 million wildebeests, zebras and gazelles migrate from Serengeti to this Park in search for safety, food and water.

Tour Plan
Day 1: From Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Pick up from your residence or Airport by our guide after your breakfast. The guide will brief you about the safari and after transfer you to Maasai Mara. The journey takes you through beautiful scenery of the Great Rift Valley and also with great sights of many Maasai people as they graze their animals on vast landscape. Have lunch en route, and proceed arriving in the reserve in the afternoon, check in at the lodge for relaxation.
After relaxing, the guide will pick you up and take you through the reserve for a game drive, and after that, in the evening visit a Maasai community in order to get an experience of the Maasai culture.
Return to the lodge, have diner and stay an overnight
Day 2: Game drive – Back to Nairobi
Be early to rise on this day, have breakfast and drive through the park with the guide for a gam drive searching for wildlife species, being early also enables you to see the early risers and the beautiful sunrise. Seeing lions in this reserve is very easy since they tend to move closer to the vehicle tracks in the morning hours. You will enjoy the game drive through different parts of the reserve such that you have the best experience.
Some of the wild animals that you will see include; crocodiles, lions, leopards, buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, elands, warthogs, baboons, impalas, hyenas, hippos and jackals.
After the drive proceed and drive out of the park, having lunch en route and arriving in Nairobi in the evening. The guide will drop you off at your hotel or at the Airport.
