Day 1-3: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Upon arriving at the Victoria Falls International airport, visitors will be met by their drive/guide who will transfer them to pamusha Lodge where visitors will spend 2 nights exploring Victoria Falls. Pamusha Lodge in Victoria Falls is a full service bed and breakfast lodge accommodation with 24 hr check-in, cocktail bar & restaurant. This 17 bed roomed lodge is nestled in the Victoria Falls suburbia, 2km from the majestic Victoria Falls. All rooms are en-suite, air-conditioned, have overhead fans, DSTV and WiFi. Day 3-6: Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
On the 3rd day visitors will be transferred to Hwange National park to explore the largest and game rich national park with over 4000 wildlife species. it hosts large herds of elephants, buffaloes and big cats. Khulu Ivory is located on a private concession of 6,000 acres on the border of Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. The entire camp overlooks an ancient riverbed, in today's terms called a 'vlei'. The waterhole in this vlei is known to attract a variety of the greatest wildlife and birdlife in Hwange National Park. Khulu Ivory comprises of 5 bespoke, thatched, safari style suites built onto platforms and one honeymoon suite. The rooms are contemporary with minimal impact to the surroundings and environment. Day 6-8: MUSANGO SAFARI CAMP, Musango Island, Matusadona
On the 6th day after exploring Hwange National Park visitors will be transferred to Bumi Hills Airstrip by a charter flight. a boat will transfer visitors to Musangano Safari Camp where visitors will spend the next 4 days exploring Matusadona National Park and lake Kariba. Day 8-11: CAMP ZAMBEZI, Mana Pools National Park.
On the 8th day visitors will be transferred to Kariba Mainland by boat then to Mana Pools by air charter to their stay at Camp Zambezi. African safari tours in Zimbabwe often include visits to the iconic Mana Pools National Park for its incredible wildlife sightings.
Camp Zambezi is a true bush camp on the bank of the mighty Zambezi River – no electricity, no permanent structures, no plumbing – a taste of the way safaris used to be. The camp is designed to be erected or dismantled within hours, leaving no trace of its existence on the surrounding environment. Adding to its rustic luxury, the camp has comfortable beds furnished with linen and duvets. The large tents have en suite toilet facilities for night use. A long drop toilet and showers (with plenty of hot water) are also provided for day use. Laundry can be done on site. All water used in camp is filtered; however bottled water is also available. Each morning, camp staff fills the wash basins outside visitors' tents with hot water for washing or shaving. Lighting is by hurricane lamp but visitors should bring their own torch or headlight. The romantic light thrown by candelabra makes a bush dinner, surrounded by the sounds of evening and a million stars, a truly special African occasion.
Games drives are in open 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers. Walking to explore and learn about the area, with visitors' armed Professional Guide it is the best way to experience the incredible diversity of animals, insects and flora at Mana Pools. Mana Pools can provide some amazing experiences, if visitors are looking for close encounters with game. Canoeing is done in 5.5m (18ft) Canadian style canoes, fitted with comfortable seats and cushions. Fishing is also a popular activity from Camp Zambezi particularly towards the end of the dry season – Sept/Oct – when the tiger fish are biting (equipment not supplied).
