The 1 day Gorilla trekking safari is an extraordinary package for those eager to see Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat. Trekking will take place in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and we have planned that it starts and ends in Kisoro or Kabale because the distance from Uganda’s Airport to Bwindi needs around 8 hours for one to get to the park hence making impossible to trek gorillas in one day. However, the 1 day trekking experience can also be done by using a regional flight from Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi and back.
In order to trek gorillas, tourists are supposed to have a fully paid for gorilla permit which costs $700. Travelers on business conferences or trips and have fewer days in Uganda, are advised to do this 1 day safari.
