This 2 days Lake Manyara Safari experience seems short but very exciting and rewarding, it will start and end in Arusha, Tanzania. The destination in these 2 days is Lake Manyara which is part of the Tanzanian Northern Circuit. The northern circuit is made up of 4 parks; Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. However, Lake Manyara can be explored independently.
In these 2 days, you will be able to see the popular attractions with in the park such as the flamingos and the tree climbing lions as well as other wildlife and bird species. We are sure that by the end of your 2 days Lake Manyara Safari you would have had an exciting and memorable safari.
Day 1: From Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
This is the first day of your 2 days Lake Manyara Wildlife safari, pick up from your residence in Arusha by our profession safari guide, he will brief you about this safari and transfer you for a 3 hours journey to Lake Manyara. When you reach the park, proceed to the lodge for lunch and after head out again for a game drive.
During the game drive, look out for elephants, buffaloes, tree-climbing lions, hippos, olive baboons, warthogs, wildebeests, monkeys, flamingo birds and many more eye-catching fauna and flora. After the drive, head to the lodge, relax, dine and have an overnight stay.
Day 2: Lake Manyara – Return to Arusha
Enjoy an early breakfast and embark on another game drive through the park to catch other wildlife species that you could have missed on Day 1. During the drive look out for different bird species, mammals and stunning views in the park. After the drive, go to the lodge, have lunch, check out and begin the journey back to Arusha. Your guide will drop you off in Arusha or at the Airport for your flight.
