2 Days Tarangire Safari Tanzania
The 2 days Safari to Tarangire National Park seems short but very rewarding with wildlife and adventure. Your safari will start from Arusha to Tarangire and end in Arusha. Tarangire is among Tanzania’s parks in the Northern Circuit, it is made up of giant African Baobab trees, Acacia woodland and low-lying hills at the rift valley base.
Tarangire offers scenic views with large numbers of wildlife such as the leopards, waterbucks, buffaloes, hartebeests, elephants, elands, warthogs, wildebeests, Lesser and Greater Kudus, gazelles, giraffes and many more as well as birds. It also hosts some of the rare species such as the Ashy Starlings, Greater Kudu and the Fringed-eared Oryx.

Day 1: From Arusha to Tarangire
Pick up from your residence or the Airport in Arusha by our professional safari guide. He will brief you about the 2 days Tarangire Wildlife Safari and immediately start with the 2 to 3 hours journey to the park through the scenic countryside. When you arrive in the Park, check in at the lodge of your choice, have lunch and after that go for an afternoon game drive for wildlife viewing.
You will see a number of animals such as the impalas, wildebeests, Kudus, zebras, lions, waterbucks, buffaloes and many more. Thereafter, return to the lodge, dine and overnight.
Day 2: Early Morning Game drive – Return to Arusha
As you come to the end your 2 days Tarangire Wildlife safari, rise up early enough and enjoy breakfast at the lodge, after that proceed for a game drive to look out for more animals that you could have not seen the previous day. During the drive, drive towards Tarangire River for more scenic views and game viewing. You will spot various animals like lions, waterbucks, giraffes, elephants, giraffes at the river bank drinking water and many water birds and spectacular vegetation types.
After the drive, proceed to your lodge for lunch, check out and get to your car and embark on your journey back to Arusha. Drop off will either be at the Airport or your residence in Arusha.
