This 2 days Serengeti safari will start from Arusha to Serengeti National Park, it involves two game drives which enable game viewing on both days before your return to Arusha. Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and among Africa’s largest wildlife parks, it is located in the northern central part of Tanzania covering an area of 14,763sqkm. It has a rich biodiversity comprised of savanna grasslands, flat plains and dotted with rock kopjes.
Serengeti means “endless plains”, it is home to cheetahs, leopards, lions, zebras, hyenas, buffaloes, jackals, elephants, and black rhino. It is also famously known for its seasonal wildebeest migration where over 1.5 million wildebeests, zebras and gazelles migrate from the park to the Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya in search for food and water.

Day 1: From Arusha to Serengeti
Pick up and briefing by our driver/guide from your residence after breakfast or from the Airport. After briefing, he will transfer you to Serengeti through the beautiful countryside with a stop to visit the crater highlands and also to see scenic views of the Maasai steep, spectacular views of Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and the vast eye catching views of Serengeti itself.
Have lunch at your lodge and after drive to the Park for a game drive which will be filled with great sightings of wildlife species, landscape and birds. The word
Day 2: Leave Serengeti and Return to Arusha
Be early to rise at around 6am, have breakfast and get packed lunch, then head to the park for the morning game drive. The early morning drive is very essential since it gives you opportunity to see the big 5 and early morning kills from predators. Enjoy the drive till noon, have lunch and have a relaxed drive from the park heading to Arusha.
Arrive in Arusha in the evening and your driver/guide will drop you off at the Airport or your residence.
