3 Days Akagera National Park Safari Rwanda

The 3 days safari takes you to Rwanda’s only Savannah Park known as Akagera National Park. By the end of this safari you would have had two fulfilling game drives where you will see lions, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, rhinos and many bird species, you will also do a boat cruise on Lake Ihema.

Day 1: To Akagera National Park

Pick up by our driver from Kigali and begin your journey to Akagera, it will take 2hours and 30minutes to get there depending on the stops you make on your way. When you arrive at the park you could go your lodge or do a game drive after have lunch and in the afternoon go for a boat cruise which will be carried out on Lake Ihema, while on the cruise you will spot different animals especially the crocodiles and hippos. After return to the lodge, unwind, have diner and an overnight stay. Accommodation Options;

Day 2: Ultimate Game Drive in Akagera

The park offers amazing tracks with many animals for game drives. So on this day have breakfast, and set out to begin the game drive, the time spent on the drive depends on how long you would wish to spend since there is a lot to see. The driver will look out for the zebras, giraffes, lions, rhinos, impalas and many more animals. If you are interested in birds, you will have a good time since the park hosts over 500 species. Day 3: Return to Kigali

On this day, no rush, have your breakfast as you enjoy the tranquility at the lodge. After your driver will drive you to Kigali, if you still have time you could do a Kigali city tour and buy some souvenirs there and he later will drop you at your hotel or the Airport.
