Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is a small but mighty park in Uganda, hugging the borders of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. At its core are three volcanoes shared by all three countries of interest. This chunk of Africa has a great deal to offer lovers of the great outdoors. For those who want to stay longer, they can climb the Sabyinyo, Gahinga, or Muhabura volcanoes; venture into neighboring parks such as Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking; or descend into Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation at the beautiful islands.
