7 Days Rwanda Safari Experience

Pick up from Kigali and briefing about the safari by our safari guide. He will after transfer you to Akagera National Park, with lunch en route. This is the only safari park in Rwanda with several wildlife species such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, waterbuck, bushbucks and many more. Enjoy breakfast and set out for the search for wildlife through the park. The game drive lasts for 3 to 4 hours and introduces you to various animals, bird species and beautiful scenery. After this experience have lunch at your lodge and that afternoon go for a boat cruise on Lake Ihema. This lake will also give you more things to see including some animals like the buffaloes and elephants along its shores. After head to your lodge and have diner. Accommodation Options;

Enjoy an early breakfast and meet the guide and travel to Nyungwe Forest, also known as the hub for chimpanzee and canopy walks. Have your lunch en route and when you arrive at the lodge freshen up, relax and dine there that evening. Accommodation options

Enjoy breakfast and after transfer to the park head office for briefing about your day’s activities. That morning after briefing, you will start with Chimpanzee tracking through the lush forest to look for the chimpanzees; it is exciting watching them feed, play and socialize in their natural habitat. After, have lunch and go for a canopy walking experience to see more spectacular views of the park, trees, plants, primates and bird species. Dine and have an overnight stay your lodge. On this day, still enjoy your breakfast and check out from the lodge and embark on the journey to the home of mountain gorillas. Volcanoes is popularly known as Rwanda’s most visited destination because of its famous endangered gorillas. Have lunch on the way and upon arrival go to your lodge for relaxation that evening. Gorilla tracking experience starts in the morning hence you will be required to rise up early, have breakfast and drive to the park for briefing before you start trekking. Ensure that you carry along all that you will need during this experience, if you have a lot of luggage that you can’t carry, you can give them to the porter to carry them for you at a cost. How long the trek lasts is estimated to be between 2 to 6 hours since gorillas don’t keep in one place and move overnight in search for food, however the feeling you get when you see them is very rewarding and only an hour is given to you to spend with the gentle giants. The trek also gives you chance to see other things in the park such as the plants species, tree species, butterflies, birds and other primates like the monkeys. After trekking, enjoy lunch and that evening you can choose to unwind at your lodge or head out again for a cultural experience in a cultural village near the park. Accommodation Options

After breakfast, head out for golden monkey tracking; these monkeys are also an endangered species yet very cute. Have a good time as you watch them playfully climb trees. After this experience have lunch and drive back to Kigali. Your guide will drop you at your residence or at the Airport if you are flying out that very day.
