Have breakfast and a pick up from the lodge by the driver who will transfer you to the Information Centre at the Park for briefing about the Chimp trek. After that you will head in to the forest to search for the Chimpanzees, meeting them in their natural habitat is an amazing experience as you will have time to watch them rest, feed, and play. During the trek, you will spot other primates like the grey checked mangabeys as well as different birds. The trek takes between 2 and 6 hours, this is based on where the Chimps are located. ` Have lunch and in the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland. You will see different bird species such as the Papyrus Gonolek, Great Blue Turaco and different types of monkeys. Thereafter, drive to the lodge for your diner and overnight.
