Day 1: Maun Airport To Maun (10.9km)

Clients are picked up at the airport and depart to Island Safari Lodge, situated in Maun. After checking in and freshening up on this African safari tour, clients depart for a Mokoro Excursion (for 2 hours) in the afternoon. Following this activity, clients return to the lodge and prepare for dinner on the safari vacation. Overnight: Island Safari Lodge Island Safari Lodge, set on a 300-acre private island reserve, lies just 10 km from Maun Airport. Situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River under a canopy of lush and green Okavango trees, the lodge overlooks a floodplain of fields and water, frequented by an abundance of birdlife and the occasional hippo. Day 2: Maun to Moremi (121.7km)

Clients have breakfast and then depart to Moremi, the next destination situated in the east of the Okavango Delta on the safari adventure. Moremi Game Reserve ranks as one of the most beautiful reserves in Africa, covering more than 4,871 square kilometers of pristine wilderness, with varied terrain including savannah, winding waterways, and dense forest. Upon arrival, clients go on the Mokoro, the traditional canoe, on the African safari vacation.

Day 3: Moremi Game Reserve Area

Clients grab morning breakfast and go on a game drive, returning before lunch on the safari holiday. After lunch, clients have time to rest or participate in other optional activities. Overnight: Third Bridge Camp 3rd Bridge Camp, a small, intimate camp of 5 Meru tents, accommodates a maximum of 10 guests in comfort and style. The guest area consists of a central mess tent and an outside fire-pit, reminiscent of a bygone age. The cuisine is tasteful safari fare - simple yet delicious, often prepared on the open fire on the African safari tours. The tents, positioned to ensure privacy and a modest level of exclusivity throughout the camp, sit on platforms with stunning views over the Channel. The large and spacious tents feature en-suite facilities, including a flush toilet and safari shower. 3rd Bridge offers a boat cruise into the waterways, exploring deep-water lagoons and sinuous channels passing numerous islands. Experienced guides conduct activities, taking visitors on game drives in this game-rich area on the safari vacation. Due to the diverse vegetation (riverine forest, floodplain, Mopani forests), the wildlife is spectacular, including elephant, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, lechwe, zebra, lion, leopard, cheetah, and wild dog, to name a few.

Day 4: Moremi to Khwai Community Area (117 km)

After breakfast, clients depart to Khwai Guest House situated in Moremi on the African safari holiday. Throughout the drive to Khwai, clients have the opportunity to see and take pictures of animals roaming freely. The Khwai area of the Okavango lies along the northern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve. This unfenced boundary allows wildlife to move freely between the woodlands in the wet season when water is plentiful and back to permanent rivers and lagoons in the dry season on the safari tours.

Day 5: Khwai Community Area

Clients grab breakfast in the morning and go on a boat cruise on the African safari vacation. The Khwai area of the Okavango lies along the northern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve. This unfenced boundary allows wildlife to move freely between the woodlands in the wet season when water is plentiful and back to permanent rivers and lagoons in the dry season.
