Day 1, 2, 3: Selinda Reserve
The safari begins at Selinda. Upon reaching Maun, a representative will greet visitors at the arrivals gate and assist with the checking in procedures for the charter flight.
At Selinda Camp, there is no set routine; the wildlife dictates the most forgiving times of day, and the camp follows its lead. Early mornings, late afternoons, and evenings are the prime game viewing times when the colors are vibrant, the sun is low, and spirits are high. Setting out at dawn, when predators are active, the guides are as eager as the visitors to discover the riches of each day in Selinda Reserve. African safari vacations here offer an immersive experience in nature. Usually, once the sun is high and strong, everyone retreats with the herds to the midday resting post, Selinda Camp. Then, as the sun begins to wane again, the group heads out for the late afternoon to evening, searching for nocturnal wildlife and the action that comes with sunset. However, nothing is regimented. Regimes don't suit Selinda, which is why everyone loves being out here in the first place. Safari tours in Selinda provide a unique and flexible adventure.

Day 4, 5, 6: Duba Plains Private Reserve
Duba Plains takes pride in its extraordinary and intimate wildlife experiences. This is the place that owners and National Geographic filmmakers, conservationists, and explorers Dereck and Beverly Joubert chose for their home base. Great Plains Conservation is the sole operator on the concession, thereby offering visitors the ultimate in exclusivity.
The renowned and now totally rebuilt Duba Plains Camp sits in the heart of the Okavango Delta on a 77,000-acre private concession that exemplifies the region's unique landscape. Duba Plains Camp features 5 bespoke tents and a 2-bedroom Duba Plains Suite. The camp is situated on raised decking, offering views of the surrounding floodplain; designed by Dereck Joubert to blend into the landscape and evoke the classic African safari style of the 1920s. Safari holidays here provide a nostalgic and authentic experience.
Visitors can enjoy both water-based and land-based activities. Guided walks, game drives, and boat safaris are part of the program. The camp also offers a wildlife program for children, making it suitable for family safari vacations.
