4 Days Uganda Golden Monkey Trek

Visiting Mgahinga Gorilla

About 4 Days Uganda Golden Monkey Trek

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is a small but mighty park in Uganda, hugging the borders of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. At its core are three volcanoes shared by all three countries of interest. This chunk of Africa has a great deal to offer lovers of the great outdoors. For those who want to stay longer, they can climb the Sabyinyo, Gahinga, or Muhabura volcanoes; venture into neighboring parks such as Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking; or descend into Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation at the beautiful islands.

What you can check

Why travel with Tranquil Safaris?

116 itineraries are published on this site, across 12 destinations; 49 of them run through Uganda, where the company is based and licensed. Any one of them can be read in full — the route, the parks, the nights — before you speak to anybody. What follows is the case for using us, and not one line of it asks you to take our word for it.

  1. The whole trip is written down first

Every trip of four days or more is set out one day at a time: where the day goes, what happens in it, where the night is spent. The one-, two- and three-day trips are written up in full as prose instead. Nothing is held back until you enquire.

    Read the itineraries
  2. A park is named only when a day is spent in it

A trip is listed against a park because its itinerary genuinely spends time there, never because the name turns up in the write-up. 40 parks and reserves are covered on that rule, and each one lists the trips that actually go.

    Browse parks and reserves
  3. Small groups, or the vehicle to yourself

Groups are kept small — typically four to twelve guests — and a private departure can be arranged instead.

  4. A planner answers, not a checkout

There is no basket on this site, no price list and no booking engine. Shortlist what interests you in the trip planner, or write from the contact page: the message reaches the people who plan the routes.
